🤰My Pregnancy Essentials (What I’m ACTUALLY Using for Supplements & Everyday Support)
When I think about this pregnancy compared to my first, the difference feels huge.
My first wasn’t planned, so I was learning as I went… adapting, figuring things out, and doing my best with what I knew at the time.
This time is different.
This pregnancy was planned, I’m already a mom, and I’ve learned so much! Not just about pregnancy, but about my body, my needs, and what truly supports me. And of course, I’m still learning every day.
Now I feel more prepared, more grounded, and more intentional.
I’m more mindful about what I use, what I buy, and what I actually need versus what’s just marketed to us.
So I wanted to share what I’m actually using this pregnancy, the essentials that have been supporting me day-to-day.
Not an overwhelming list… just what’s truly made a difference 🤍 And of course you filter everything and get only what you think it’s the best for you!

Section 1: Supplements I’m Taking During Pregnancy
I’ve been a lot more intentional this time around when it comes to supplements.
Choosing cleaner, organic options that truly support my body during pregnancy.
Here’s what I’m currently taking:
1. Collagen Peptides – Vital Proteins
Supports skin elasticity, which can help as your belly grows
Helps with joint support (so important when carrying extra weight)
Great for hair, skin, and nails
Contains amino acids that support overall tissue health
I love adding it to my coffee in the morning, super easy to include daily.
2. Grass-Fed Beef Organs – Codeage
This one is such a powerful, nutrient-dense supplement.
Rich in iron, which supports healthy blood levels
Contains vitamin A, B12, and folate in highly absorbable forms
Supports energy levels and reduces fatigue
A more natural, whole-food source of nutrients compared to synthetic vitamins
Organ meats are one of the most nutrient-dense foods, and this is an easy way to get those benefits without actually eating them since it’s really hard to have a perfectly balanced diet and absorb all of these nutrients naturally.
3. Prenatal Vitamins – Emerald Laboratories
Supports baby’s development with key nutrients like folate, iron, and DHA (if included)
Helps maintain energy and overall nutrient balance
Designed to be gentle on digestion (which matters so much during pregnancy)
Add:
I was really looking for a cleaner prenatal option that my body would actually absorb well.
4. Creatine
Creatine is something I’ve personally chosen to include during this pregnancy, and it’s been a supportive addition for my overall energy and strength.
Supports muscle strength and endurance
Helps with energy production at a cellular level
May support brain health and cognitive function
Can be helpful in maintaining strength as your body changes
That said, creatine during pregnancy isn’t as widely discussed as other supplements, so this is definitely one to talk through with your healthcare provider before adding in 🤍
5. Protein Powder - Boobie Super Foods
Boobie provides easy-to-use health and wellness products meticulously developed by medical professionals, crafted with the finest ingredients, first-hand knowledge, and innovative proprietary blends. I love their protein powder, hydration support and all of their snacks. They’re all made with organic Ingredients, Caffeine Free, Vegan, Gluten-free.

6.Magnesium
Supports muscle relaxation (great for cramps and tension)
Helps improve sleep quality
Can reduce fatigue and stress levels
Supports overall nervous system regulation
On days I feel more depleted, I take magnesium capsules. - FIND IT ON AMAZON
But my favorite way to use it is through Epsom salt baths: either a full body bath or even just a foot soak at the end of the day. It’s such a simple ritual, but it helps me slow down, relax, and reset. - FIND IT ON AMAZON
Section 2: Hydration Support
1.Electrolytes
Help maintain proper hydration levels
Support muscle function (great for preventing cramps)
Can help with fatigue and headaches
I like 2 options for Electrolytes:

2.Trace Mineral Drops

Support hydration at a deeper cellular level
Help with energy and overall balance
I just add a few drops to my water, it’s such a simple habit but makes a big difference in your body
Section 3: Daily Life Support
Natural Skincare (Clean + Mama-Owned 🤍)
This time around, I’ve been A LOT more intentional with what I use on my skin.
I’ve chosen to support small, local, mama-owned brands that create clean, non-toxic products, and it feels so aligned in this season of life.
Below are two amazing mamas I’ve been buying from and truly love:
Highly recommend supporting small businesses when you can! There’s so much love, quality and care behind every product.
Besides those brands, I’ve been using Badger Balm Belly Oil and I love how simple its ingredients are!
And just a little extra for you, if you like perfumes and would like to use something cleaner and safer for your body (especially with baby coming soon), I highly recommend checking out Inkling Scents Natural Perfumes! They are 100% pure essential and perfume oils, making them perfect for those who are health-conscious or suffer from allergies and sensitivities. And of course perfectly safe to wear near baby!
Maternity Leggings & Shorts
Stretchy and supportive for a growing belly
Breathable fabrics are key
POCKETS = must
I lived in my leggings during the winter, and the shorts saved me during those warmer park days with my toddler. Both of the options below have pockets, and I chose cheaper options rather than expensive ones -even if they weren’t the best fabrics- because I know I’ll be wearing them just for a short period of time.
MATERNITY LEGGINS ON AMAZON - impressively good for the price!
MATERNITY SHORTS ON AMAZON - lived on them on my last trimester!
Maternity Belt
Especially helpful in the second and third trimester
Gives support to your belly and lower back
Makes walking, errands, and even park days feel so much easier
I’ve been using mine at the park while chasing my toddler around, and even grocery runs feel so much better with that extra support.
Sleep Support (Real Talk 😅)
I know pregnancy pillows are a thing… but I have to be honest here.
After my first pregnancy, we got one of those big pregnancy pillows… and to this day, my husband is the one who uses it every single night LOL
For me, it just didn’t work, it didn’t feel comfortable.
That said - so many women LOVE them, so I always say: try one and return it if it’s not for you!
What works for me is much simpler:
A regular pillow (or two)
An extra blanket between my legs
And honestly, that’s been more than enough to keep me comfortable.
Bathroom Support (Trust Me on This One 😅)
A stool for pooping (like a squatty potty style) has been a must during both pregnancies!
As your body changes, digestion can slow down and constipation can become very common. Using a stool helps position your body in a more natural squat, which makes everything so much easier and more comfortable.
Supports better digestion and elimination
Helps reduce constipation and straining
More aligned with your body’s natural posture
It might sound like a small thing… but it makes a BIG difference.
One of those simple essentials you don’t think about, but once you have it, you won’t go back!
And just a little extra:
I also got a few oversized tees from my own shop, and I’ve been wearing them on repeat. They’re soft, comfortable, and perfect for pregnancy and postpartum too! I like having larger options to wear with leggings or a comfy outfit.

I’ve also been loving using a clean, non-toxic perfume from Inkling Scents as a little form of self-care during pregnancy and now thinking ahead to postpartum too. Their scents are made with a blend of essential oils and carefully sourced ingredients, without the harsh chemicals found in traditional perfumes, making them a gentler option to wear during pregnancy and around baby.
It’s such a simple way to still feel like yourself in this season!

Section 4: Other Forms of Support
Prenatal Yoga (Body, Mind & Community)
I couldn’t finish this post without talking about prenatal yoga!
This has been one of the most supportive practices during both of my pregnancies, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.
Prenatal yoga helps you:
Stay active in a gentle, safe way
Support your changing body
Prepare for labor and birth
Feel more connected to your body and your baby
Support your mental health and nervous system
But beyond all of that… it also creates community.
If you’re in Las Vegas, I highly recommend checking out Prenatal Yoga Las Vegas. It’s where I teach my classes, where I did my teacher training, and where I met some of my closest mama friends <3 - ps: they also offer some online options!
There’s truly something special about being in a space filled with women going through the same season as you.
You’re not just taking a class, you’re building support, learning, connecting, and preparing yourself for birth and postpartum in the most intentional way. If you’ve been thinking about trying it, this is your sign ✨
Mental & Emotional Support (The Most Important One 🤍)
I had to include this, because truly, there’s nothing you can buy that will support you more than community!!
I wouldn’t be the same without my mama friends.
We see each other every week for playdates, we talk, we share, we support each other… and it genuinely saves me. There’s something so powerful about being around women who are in the same season as you.
If this is your first baby, I know it can feel harder to find that kind of support. But here’s my advice:
👉 Look for the events below. Even if it feels uncomfortable at first.
Local mom groups
Prenatal or postpartum yoga classes
Library events
Community centers
Hospital-offered classes and workshops (many are free!)
And don’t be shy… or actually… be shy, but go anyway!
You never know who you’re going to meet. I met many of my friends taking prenatal yoga classes! And that one step can truly change your whole motherhood experience 🤍
I also created my own Birth Affirmation Cards!
They have been such a beautiful tool to stay grounded and connected throughout pregnancy. They’re designed to support you mentally and emotionally as you prepare for birth, with gentle reminders that bring you back to trust, strength, and calm. You can use them during pregnancy, in your birth space, or even postpartum as a way to reconnect with yourself.
👉 You can find them here: https://www.unoyogaformoms.com/shop/p/birth-affirmation-cards
A simple but powerful way to support your mindset going into birth 🤍
At the end of the day, pregnancy isn’t about having everything, it’s about having the right support!
Some of that comes from what we take, what we use, and how we care for our bodies.
But the deepest support comes from how we care for ourselves… and who we surround ourselves with <3
As you move closer to birth, preparing your body for labor becomes just as important as gathering your prenatal essentials. Soon, I’ll be sharing a new blog post all about how to support your body for a smoother labor, including natural ways to help your body prepare in the final weeks of pregnancy, from nourishing foods to gentle practices that may encourage a more comfortable birth experience. Stay tuned for that guide, it’s one I’m so excited to share with you!
Thank You for Being Here! 🤍
Thank you for taking the time to be here, to read, to connect, and to support this space.
Whether you’re preparing for your first baby or walking through this journey again, I hope this post made you feel a little more supported, a little more grounded, and a little less alone.
Motherhood is not something we’re meant to do on our own, and every time you choose to slow down, learn, or connect, you’re already doing something beautiful for yourself and your baby!
If this resonated with you, feel free to share it with another mama who might need it too.
With love, always.
Because Together, We Are UNO 🤍
